Winner of the “Old Hispanic Office Composition Competition”, organized by the University of Bristol, with the work ‘So far away and hidden.. Libera Me’ (Flute, Clarinet, Percussion, Piano, Violin, Cello).
The recognition included a commission for a new work for the Kokoro Ensemble (the contemporary music ensemble of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra). The piece was premiered at the Victoria Rooms Auditorium (Bristol) during the final concert on February 5, 2015.
